Jiries Mogannam, DDS, MD

Dr. Jiries “Jerry” Mogannam was born and raised in Santa Rosa and graduated from Cardinal Newman high school. He completed his undergraduate degree at UC Davis and earned his dental degree at UCLA. He then went on to complete his medical degree and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Texas at Houston. Dr. Mogannam is very excited to be able to practice in Sonoma County where his family roots are deep. He is married to Cindy, a dietitian, and together they have three children, Gabrielle, Peter and Danielle.

Dr. Mogannam’s oral surgery interests include treatment of children and young adults, implant surgery, bone grafting and facial reconstruction. Outside of oral surgery his hobbies include playing with his children, running and working out.

Vicente Chavez, DDS

Dr. Vicente Chavez was born and raised in Santa Rosa and graduated from Montgomery High School. He completed his undergraduate degree at Sonoma State and his dental degree at the University of California, San Francisco. He then went on to complete his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at University of Pacific/Highland Hospital. Dr. Chavez is very excited to be able to practice in Sonoma County. He is married to Margarita, an RDA, and together they have three children, Leticia, Diego and Emilio.

Dr. Chavez’s oral surgery interests include treating dental phobic patients, implant surgery, bone grafting, trauma, TMJ and facial reconstruction. Outside of oral surgery he enjoys spending time with his family, running, sports and exercising.

Chrisopher Chow, DDS, MD

Dr. Christopher Chow was born in Palm Springs and raised in the Bay Area. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of the Pacific, San Francisco, in 2015. Dr. Chow furthered his training at the University of Texas at Houston, where he completed his medical degree (MD), two years of general surgery, and six year comprehensive residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Chow currently serves as the Medical Director of Idyllic Aesthetics and Saelo Medical Spa in San Francisco. Since 2021, he has been a valued member of the team at Sonoma County and Petaluma Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center. His clinical interests include dental extractions, implant surgery, bone grafting, facial aesthetics and orofacial reconstruction. He is passionate about providing compassionate care to both children and adults.

Before embarking on his dental career, Dr. Chow led an adventurous life working as a wildlife firefighter and baker at his family’s doughnut shop — experiences that continue to shape his hands-on, grounded approach to patient care.

Outside the practice, Dr. Chow enjoys spending quality time with his family, competing in powerlifting, hiking, camping, snowboarding and all things Disney. He and his wife, Annie, a nurse practitioner at UCSF, reside in Petaluma where they are raising their two children, Jesse and Jaxon.

William Verlinden, DDS, MD

Dr. William Verlinden is a Bay Area native. He began his career in healthcare as a registered nurse and later decided to pursue dentistry. He attended Loma Linda University where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the OKU dental society.

While in dental school, Dr. Verlinden developed an interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He continued his studies at Loma Linda University where he graduated from medical school then completed residency. He received extensive training in full-scope procedures including anesthesia, extractions, bone grafting and implant surgery.

Dr. Verlinden is excited to be a part of the practice and enjoys working with patients in the community.

Outside of work, Dr. Verlinden enjoys home improvement projects, woodworking, cooking and hiking with his dog.
